Originally, these oversized hands were plaster works by unknown artists of the 19th century. Before making the final edition in bronze, artists often made plaster models that were numbered and signed.
This replica represents a study found in the cellar of a foundry without any clue as to its creator. However, it still offers us a glimpse of this unknown artist's talent.
